Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Caregiver (who can speak both English and Spanish) to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and feeding
- Offer companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Follow care plans and uphold client dignity and privacy
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and their families
Qualifications
- Must speak Spanish fluently
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CNA certification preferred
- Clear background check and "No Findings" report
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance (if transporting clients)
- TB test and CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for caring for seniors and persons with disabilities
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
